190 N (Our Dancing Debut on ABC Chicago)

I found this video at the 190 North web site.  190 North is a local TV Show showing things to do and see around the Chicagoland area.  If you ever get a chance to see it, it’s on Channel 7 in Chicago.  It’s also a video podcast on iTunes or you can watch it at 190north.com.

The reason this one is on our website is because we happen to be on the show.  This is when Lisa and I made our dancing debut.  Honestly, this was our second time, and we never went back.  We figured, we took our dancing as far as we can.  We made it on TV.   Now the trick is to see if you can find us.  You will need Quicktime installed to see the link, but it’s worth it.

Merry Christmas!

The Advent season is upon us! We have the lights on the tree and all of the other decorations up.  We’ll put ornaments on the tree maybe tonight.  We have had some snow, but last night we had slushy rain.  Tony and I just came back from visiting the Mouse and Friends at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.  What fun!  We attended the Candlelight Processional Concert at Epcot, with celebrity narrator John O’Hurley.  He did a wonderful job narrating the Christmas story.  There was also a marvelous Christmas parade at the Magic Kingdom with marching Toy Soldiers, Reindeer, Santa, and more!  Great fun!  We watched lots of fireworks as well.  Add cocoa and cookies, the Osborne Lights, and snow and you’ve got a great Christmas extravaganza.  We had a super time, and will definitely go back again.
